BYAHILO at the BlogFest SOCCSKSARGEN 2010!

I was recently in General Santo City to attend the first ever BlogFest in General Santos city. To add more spice to my adventure, I flew from Manila to Davao City via Cebu Pacific Air then took a three hour bus with Ria Jose to GenSan.

A week before the BlogFest I was also in Iloilo City for the Visayas Blogging Summit. But being part of the organizing team, I wasn’t able to listen to the talks. That’s why I made sure to be in Gensan to listen to the great speakers invited by the Sox Bloggers.

Speakers invited to the conference included Ria, Aileen Apolo, Janette Toral, Michelle Solon, ryan Elumba, Professor Danilo Arao, Jay Jaboneta, Dale Palileo, and Bobby Soriano.

It was a full day of learning new stuff about blogging and New Media in General. I have learned a lot from the speakers and I’m really happy to be at the BlogFest.

More than just th conference, one of the things I love about GenSan is its food and the people itself! I love the kebab at Little Dubai! (I’ll do a separate post about it), the tuna lumpia at Piyesta is yummy! and one of my latest iscovery is the Robinsons Movieworld 3D Cinema which is just so cheap at PHP122! Ayun nakapanood pa ako ng Narnia!

Immediately after the conference was the SOX Bloggers Christmas Party. Of course naloka ako kasi may isang malaking tuna for sashimi! I only ate a spoonful of rice and chicken, and the rest is tuna sashimi. Luveeet! Ang sarap talaga ng fresh tuna lalo na pag galing sa Pacific Seas! there were fun games and surprises for the Sox Bloggers. Grabe ang saya saya!

A day after the conference, we all went to a whole day Sarangani Tour. We had white water tubing adventure in Maitum Sarangani, had an insanely delicious lunch at the Lemlunay Resort in Maasim, a short visit to the Balungis weavers in Malapatan then beach hopping in Gumasa, Glan Sarangani. Itsvery tiring to travell all day all over the province. But if you’re surrounded by the friends known to be the Mindanao’s Funnest, mawawala ang pagod mo!
