Final Trip of the Year: Iloilo – Bacolod – La Castellana

My final out of town trip for 2010 is abut to end. I am closing this year with the trip to Iloilo City, Guimbal, Bacolod City and La Castellana Negros Occidental.
Guimba Iloilo
This is more of an R&R for me. I never had a solid itinerary. I jusr wanted to go slow, and go with the flow. I just wanted to releax and just like the good old times, enjoy the slow-paced life of the Ilonggos. This is I guess one of the things I missed in Iloilo and Bacolod. Both cities enjoy the rapid development and progress while preserving the slow-paced, probinsya life.
Ahh, the food! Can I just bring them all back to Sta. Rosa Laguna? I love the food so much! These are the things that I have taken for granted whe I was still living in this paart of the country. La Paz Batchoy for breakfast of the yummy desserts in Felicia’s and Calea are just yummy!
You only get to appreciate these finer things on life when you go out of the comforts of your home and live elsewhere.
Early morning today, I will be flying back to Manila to spend the Christmas holidays with my sister in our humble abode in Laguna.
This is my finaly trip of the year, but expect more travel stories to come as I still have a lot of backlog that needs to be cleared before the new year starts.
While 2010 has not oficially ended, I am now looking forward to a VERY tight schedule for January. 4 trips scheduled for the first month of the year. I want to make sure that January will be bonggang year, as I will be celebrating my birthday. And I’ll be officially out of the calendar! Eh ano ngayon kung 32 na ako 
hehe
