Little Dubai: Your Little Middle Eastern Spot in GenSan!
Posted by on December 27, 2010
I first learned about Little Dubai Kebab Grill last July when Sinjin and I had our Travel Talk here. It was Avel who first introduce me to Little Dubai.
The place is quaint and cozy. They serve several versions of Kebab, as well as other foods, too. Everytime I am in General Santos City, I never fail to visit Little Kebab because I love their foods!
Among my favorites are the Lentil soup and the Classic Beef Kebab, wither with rice or pita.
The owner, Cherry Odi once worked in Dubai for over a decade so I pretty sure she knows the flavors of Dubai by heart.
The kebab is bursting with flavors and is really juicy. And what’s even interesting with Little dubai is that, the meals are all budget friendly! Fastfood price for a really great tasting Mediterranean Delight!
During my recent visit, I am surprised to know that they have already improved their menu lineup. More foods available and the menu itself was also improved. The new menu is way better than the old one!
And to keep guest busy while waiting for the foods to be served, you can play the game Jenga. The resto has several sets of Jenga that you can borrow. It was really fun! Maybe next time they can offer some freebies or discounts if they break the record of having the highest Jenga tower. Whatchathink?

Little Dubai Kebab Grill is located at the SAFI Arcade, just beside the outdoor parking space of KCC Mall, General Santos City.

For a moment, I was thinking of Barangay Fatima, Tambler, Siguel and MSU. Some locals call it “Middle East in Mindanao,” hehehe!!! Will try this when I come back there. Thanks for the heads up.
MSU is indeed the Middle East of Mindanao. HAHAHA.
@Rabsky…ganyan talaga sa bandang Fatima, Tambler area. Haha!
Although I noticed that there are some similarities between Pampanga and western General Santos City when it comes to the landscape and soil. Could the “desert-like” landscape a result of the eruption of Mount Parker?
oi
