Bye Davao, Hello Manila!

I’ll be flying back to Manila today via Cebu Pacific Air. Last Thursday, I flew from Manila to Davao to buy some locally made weave then took a bus going to General Santos City to attend the BlogFest conference. I also had the chance to tour around the Sarangani Province.

I could say that this is probably one of the best trips I have for 2010! Great food, great travel experience in the company of great people! O, di ba!

Please watch out for the details of my trip soon. Right now, I just wanted to go back home and take a much-needed rest. I miss my bed now.

I am not even sure if this is going to be my last trip of the year. Merry Christmas everyone!

Cebu Pacific Chinese New Year Promo Fare!

Low cost carrier Cebu Pacific has just announced another promofare, this time for the Chinese New Year Season! Enjoy the cool weather and the great sights in Beijing as the Philippines number one budget airline offers promo fares thats so hard to resist!

The largest Philippine national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB) offers a Beijing-Manila seat sale from December 9-12, 2010 or until seats last, for travel from January 1 to April 30, 2011.

Available only from China, CEB offers CNY 168 seats for Beijing-Manila bookings. This is 78% less than the lowest year-round one-way fare for this route. After the seat sale, Beijing-Manila seats are up for grabs for as low as CNY 768.

Those with check-in luggage will just add CNY 20 upon booking.

From Manila, passengers can connect to 15 other international destinations such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Bangkok. Low fare leader CEB also operates the most extensive network in the Philippines, flying to 33 domestic destinations such as Boracay (Caticlan), Cebu, Coron, Siargao, Davao and Laoag.

“CEB encourages guests from Beijing to travel to the Philippines on these low fares. The travel period for this 78% off seat sale also includes the Chinese New Year,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“We hope guests can take advantage of this seat sale and book early. We continue serving our passengers with lower fares and an on-time performance well above global standards. CEB is also the only airline in the Philippines operating a 100% brand-new aircraft fleet,” said

For CEB booking and inquiries, guests can go to www.cebupacificair.com. Beijing ticketing offices can also be reached at 86-10-6581-2757, 86-10-8587-9358 or 86-10-8569-9606. The latest seat sales can also be found on cebupacificair on Twitter and Facebook Fan Page.

CEB flew the most number of domestic and international passengers in the 1st half of 2010, based on Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board data. It also flies to the most number of ASEAN destinations from the Philippines, and is the only low-cost carrier from the Philippines to the three major North Asian countries of South Korea, China and Japan.
