White Water Tubing in Maitum Sarangani

Sarangani is blessed with so many wonders. When I was in Gensan last December, I had the chance to join the Neyem Sarangani Tour for the Sox Bloggers. Our first itinerary of the day was the white Water Tubing in the town of Maitum Sarangani.
If Cagayan de Oro has White Water Rafting, Maitum has White Water Tubing. Instead of kayaks, the ones used in Maitum is a rubber tube or Salbabida.
Kakaibang Experience! You get to feel the adrenaline rush everytime you approach huge boulders and get splashed with cold water.
The whole tubing route is around 1.6km in Pangi River. Current White water tubing rate is PHP120. This is located at New La Union, Maitum Sarangani. Maitum Sarangani is around 1.5 hours away from General Santos City

This is one activity that I should try again when I get back to GenSan soon! Sulit ang PHP120! I might try this not just once but three times, paulit ulit! ahaha

I love river tubing so much!I got to experience this at Talomo River in Davao. The adrenaline rush is unforgettable. Pure fun indeed.

We did this back in college sa saranggani din. Sa sobrang aliw namin we did it twice. That was 4 years ago. Nakakamiss na, I wanna go back!

Wow naman sulit na sulit nga ang Php120 sa dami ng adrenaline rush na mararamdaman mo dyan. I hope someday makapunta din ako dyan =D

Sir, approximately, ano water depth? Looking at the second pic, parang mababaw sa area na ito. malakas ba ang current? The P120 rate is really very reasonable…
the water is not really that deep. but the current is very strng.
is this safe? hindi kasi ako marunong lumangoy. hehehe. But it looks safer than white water rafting.. How long did the activity last?

ella, mabilis lng sya.. its only 1.6 km. pwede bumalik if you want .. pbayad lng ulit. but at 120pesos.. mura na yun!

try nyo white water KAYAKING sa cagayan de oro. 3x more extreme adrenaline rush than rafting, how much more kung tubing. kayak lang mataas ang physical requirements kung mag enroll ka nang white water kayaking lesson sa cdo, because you are on your own controling the boat. bago adventure ito sa cdo, 1 year palang.
