Tribu Pan ay of Fort San Pedro National High School was declared Champion in this year’s Ati Ati contest of the Dinagyang Festival 2011. The group also won other awards like the Best in Choreography and the Best in Performance.

Yesterday Iloilo City held the annual Kasadyahan Festival 2011. This event is always held a day before the grand Ati ati contest of the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City Philippines.

Sinulog 2011 is a really great experience for me! there’s just a lot of firsts.The festival may have been rained but it never dampened the festive spirit in me. In fact the rain just added some more spice to my 2-week adventure in Cebu!

The Sinulog Festival 2011 in Cebu City was a resounding success. Despite the almost-nonstop downpour during the wekeend’s festivities, thousand, or shall I say, over a million of devotees andd tourists still flocked to the Queen City of the South to pay homage to the Santo Nino during the procession and witness the extravagant grand parade held last Sunday.
Here are some more photos I took during the Sinulog Festival, from the opening ceremonies, held last January 7, down to the Awarding rites and mandatory repeat performances held January 17.
