Review: Crumpler Hillman Hunter Bag
Posted by on March 1, 2011
I am always a big fan of messenger bags. That is why when I was asked which bag type I’ll be getting to review for the Crumpler Chinese New Year collection, I immediately picked the Hillman design.
I always find it comfortable to be walking with the bag on my side. I love the bright red color. In Chinese traditions, red symbolizes joy and celebration. I also love the geometric print on the inside. It’s cute.
The size is just perfect for me. It may look small, but mind you, it can carry a 10” netbook, as well as a daily planner. There are a lot of pockets inside which is very convenient. I can easily organize where to place the keys, ballpen, phones, etc. Perfect for the OC’s. The Front has two locks as well as Velcro for more support.
What I just do not like is that I find the shoulder strap a bit short for me. I stand 5’8” and I still find it a bit bitin. I always prefer messenger bags that are exactly on my waist level. Not above the waist, not below the waist. They could’ve have added a few more inches on the strap, anyway, it can be easily adjusted if one needs a shorter bag strap.
I have already tried using the bag while I was in Iloilo Bacolod and in Victorias City. I used it to carry my netbook and my planner and I am totally satisfied at it. So far it has not failed me. I’d definitely bring it this coming weekend as I fly to Cebu for a weekend of shopping and adventure. The HillmanHunter is priced at PHP3850. The Crumpler limited Edition Chinese New Year Hillman Hunter bag is available at the following crumpler stores: Bonifacio High Street, Trinoma, SM Megamall and Robinson’s Manila.
Many thanks to the coolest peeps from Crumpler for providing the review item.
