The biggest Festival in the Eastern Visayas Region in the Philippines is coming! The Pintados Kasadyaan 2011 of the Province of Leyte will once again be the highlight of this year’s provincial fiesta celebration this coming June.
Pintados Kasadyaan is a celebration of to festivals rolled into one, the Pintados Festival and the Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals.
Various events are lined up leading to its highlight. there are beauty pageant, trade fair, regatta, concerts and nightly shows. This year, the Pintados kasadyaan Festival of Festivals Competition one of the highlights of the festival is slated June 27 Source.
Expect the biggest and the most colorful festivals of the Eastern Visayas Region dance to the loud beating of the drums in the streets of Tacloban as they compete for the the top prize and the bragging rights as the Best Festival of Eastern Visayas.
