Review: Gran Prix Hotel and Suites

Posted by on May 10, 2011

When I was in Cebu last May 5-6, I stayed for a night at the Gran Prix Hotel. I have been to Cebu in the Philippines (fourth this year) but it was my first time to actually stay in this hotel.

The hotel is located at the corner of MAngo Avenue and F. Ramos Street. One of the things I love about Gran Prix hotel is its prime location. It is just a few meters away from the Fuente Osmena, the Kilometer Zero of the Island of Cebu. There are also a lot of food outlets nearby. And a few wlks going along the F. Ramos Street is the Casa Verde Restaurant, one of my personal favorites in Cebu which offers the best baby back ribs in town!

During my stay in Cebu, I was given a complimentary Family Room. The room has one queen sized bed and one single bed. The room also has a mini ref, wall-mounted flat TV, WiFi access, Hot and cold shower with bath tub. The room is very spacious.

although Gran Prix Hotel markets itself as an econotel, it’s good to know that they offer complimentary Jollibee breakfast to their guests. The popular Filipino fastfood chain is just located beside the hotel.

The hotel is perfect for those who wish to experience comfort without breaking your piggy bank.

Going to the popular landmarks, shopping malls, and bars won’t be a problem too as there are a lot of jeepneys and cabs that pass by along the Mango Avenue.

Gran Prix Hotel is also a good accommodation during Sinulog 2012 as the Grand Mardi Gras Parade passes right in front of the hotel!

Perfect Location. Quality Comfort. Excellent Service. Affordable Rates. That’s what Gran Prix Hotel in Cebu is all about. Check out thir website for more details

Hello. Just wanted to comment on your Grand Mardi Gras statement. Sinulog and Mardi Gras are completely different. Sinulog is to celebrate the patron saint of Cebu -Sto. Nino whereas the Mardi Gras refer to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after Epiphany and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday.
