Chef’s Lunch at the Amorita Resort Panglao Bohol

When I was in Bohol recently, one of the things we did there was to sample the new menu offering of Saffron Restaurant and Bar which is located at the Amorita Resort.
Upon arrival, we did a quick check of the resort facilities and the various room types and then off we went to the dining table to sample the Chef’s Lunch.
The foods were specially prepared by the resort’s executive Chef, Paeng. There were a lot of foods served in front of us, we had Crab Cake and La Amorita Garden Salad for appetizer.
For the Main Coourse we had Kare kare, Amorita Pork Sinigang, Crispy Pork Binagoongan, Grilled Half Chicken, Blue Marlin, Tuna Loin, Barbecue Chicken Pizza.
Among the numeroous main course served, I especially loved the grilled Blue Marlin and the Tuna Loin. It’s just so juicy and oozing with all the flavors. I love it so much. Ako yata naka ubos nito sa table!Sarap talaga! I also tried the barbecue chicken pizza, it’s like having your chicken+ garden salad on a crust. The pork binagoongan is also good, but I’m not really a big fan of bagoong, so that also explained why I skipped Kare kare.
for dessert we had Turon de Bohol. It’s actually the usual banana fritters filled with jackfruit topped with caramel sauce and chopped almonds served ala mode style.
Great food! Tamang tama sa malaking gutom! These are available at the Saffron Restaurant. Other delicious dishes are also available at the menu. Just ask the friendly staff.











Everything looks good! The Pork Sinigang is quite different, the pork looks fried?
