When I was at the Amorrita Resort in panglao Bohol a few weeks ago, one of the things we did was the Bohol by Night Tour. The tour aims to let the travelers the different side of Panglao.
Panglao, since time immemorial has been known for its white sandy beaches. Alona Beach is one of the top favorites. But only a handful knowns that theres a lot more to do and experience in Panglao.
During our Bohol by Night tour we had a gastronomic feast enjoying the international flavors offered by various restaurants around Panglao.
Our tour started with some French appetizers at L’Elephant Bleu. Olives cheese and hummus were served. From there we then moved to Jugali’s Bistro. The restaurant offers an exciting array of European dishes. During our food tour, we were offered a wide array of Spanish cuisine. We had Paella Negra, Albondigas, and a whole lot more. From there we had a feast of desserts at Chef Uli Restaurant and Delicatssen. Yummy! The store is very lovely, it has a lot of German goods and other imported products like cold cuts, pasta, sausages, cheese, olives and a whole lot more!
From our dessert we had a short walk back to Amorita Resort for the finale of our degustation tour: Barbecue and pica pica overlooking the famed Alona Beach!
It was a night of good food from great restos! Who would have thought that aside from the white sandy beaches, Panglao is also home to several topnotch restaurants offering international menu? This is probably one of the secrets visitors to Panglao has to Experience!
