Another confirmed trip for this month is Cebu during the highlight of the Sinulog Festival. I will be taking aCeres bus from Bacolod then take RORO to Cebu. I am so thrilled to see Sinandloy Dance Troupe from Tangub City and the himag-Ulaw Festival of Placer Masbate compete in Sinulog again! I am also excited to see Carcar City, Lumad Basakanon, as well as the contingents from Lanao del Norte, Alang alang and Dulag Leyte! Pit Senyor!

On the fourth week of January I’ll take a ferry bound for Iloilo to witness 2012 Dinagyang Festival. If time and weather permits, I might go to Antique to explore some old chrches there. Hopefully this would push through.

On January 29th our dancers will be competing in Dinagsa Festival in Cadiz City, some 2 hours bus ride north of Bacolod. This is the first time that we will compete in Cadiz, and I am excited tob e there. Of course, I am also excited to meet or dancers again :)

    Happy New Year!

Carlos did a one-day walking tour there, I think.

    God bless,

BTW, Pit Senyor! I’m from Cebu. Sto. Niño Basilica is just 45 minutes ride from my home, and my barangay’s neighbor is the Barangay Basak, home of the Lumad Basakanon Sinulog contingents.

I see that you’re excited to see contingents from Carcar City. You should be, because last Friday, Carcar City High School won 1st place in the Sinulog sa Kabataan, and they will be competing on January 15 grand parade.

Once again, Pit Senyor! Hope you won’t get tired of visiting Cebu. You are always welcome here and KEEP UP the good work. :)
