Experience Baguio Bliss at Eurotel Hotel

Have you ever heard of the so called Baguio bliss? That’s what we experienced when we recently visited Baguio City and stayed at Eurotel Hotel. For three days and two nights, we got to rediscover the sights of the Summer Capital of the Philippines courtesy of Eurotel Baguio.

Amenities

We stayed for 3D/2N at the Eurotel Baguio. I have been to this cool city but it was my first time to stay in this hotel. When checking in at a hotel, there are two things that I always consider, the WiFi connection and the hot/cold shower.

WiFi is must. During my trip to Baguio I had a client deadline where I need to send 60 hi-res photos. Thank God the Internet connection is fast and reliable. Sending large files during that time is a breeze. And when in Baguio, who doesn’t need a hot shower especially if the temperature drops to 10 degrees Celsius? It is so cold during our stay there.

LCD TV with Cable provides a good entertainment especially before bedtime.

The bed pillows and comforter provides real comfort during sleeptime. The bed is not too hard, nor too soft. With being tired from all the road trip we had from Manila, I really had a good night’s sleep.

Baguio Tour

Although I have been to Baguio several times, I still love this city because of its cool climate. And rediscovering Baguio with other bloggers makes it even more special and exciting.

During our first day, we were given 2 pages of photo paper with photos of some signs and landmarks in Baguio. Our goal was to find all these 14 images and take a photo of these. The first three to finish the task wins a prize. It was an exciting task. It even made me appreciate Baguio City even more. Too bad I ended up as the fourth to finish the task, so no prize for me. ?

During our whole stay, we also got to visit some of the popular spots in Baguio like the Lion’s head at the Kennon Road, the Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, Baguio City Hall, The Baguio Orchidarium, the Bell church, Strawberry Farm and Tam-awan village. It was also my first time to had lunch at Oh My Gulay! I have read a lot of good reviews about this artsy fartsy café resto along session Road. Finally, I got to sample their offerings, yummy! And Benguet Coffee while in tam-awan village is the best! I swear. Guess what, I was able to finish three cups of coffee while in Tam-awan Village. Yes, dear, THREE CUPS!

Although I have also been to tam-awan before, It was my first time to actually hike the highest spot. Effort! I was not prepared to hike. Grabe ang pagod! But it was fun being on top of the world, or shall I say, Baguio. :)

I had hesitations checking in here but when i saw your post i decided to give it a try. i got thebsuite 1 for 3 nights. it was a mistake. first impression upon entering the room – really bad smell. amoy paa. we told the rront resk – no aftion. at night it was noisy. it is beside a gas station with setvice bays. ang ingay. ilang beses din nagmalfunction ang electronic door. kailangan pa humaba to have it reset. not baming you but your readers should know that normal people like me did not get the bliss you were talking about.
