Bituon han Leyte 2012 Pageant Night
Posted by on June 27, 2012
It was an evening of glitz and glamour as Leyte held the annual Bituon han Leyte 2012. Bituon han Leyte is the annual search for the best and the most graceful festival lead dancer as part of the celebration of the Leyte Pintados Kasadyaan Festival 2012.
Unlike the usual beauty pageant, Bituon han Leyte has no interview portion, or long gown or swimsuit competition. This is a competition among the best and the most graceful lead dancers. this is also a contest on how good a female dancer can actually lead her contingent in performing their routine.
Joining this competition is optional. So we only got to see nine ladies compete for the title, while there will be eleven festival who will compete during the Pintados Kasadyaan Festival competition today.
The event was held at the RTR Plaza. It wasa jampacked event. A lot of people flocked to the venue to cheer for their bets. the candidates were all in their very elaborate costumes. I’m so excited! I can’t wait for them to do the whole performance at the Stadium later today.
Special guest during the event was Miss Philippines – Earth Miss Stephanie Dianne Stefanowitz. We were actually on the same flight from Manila to Tacloban. And yeah, we’re booked on the same hotel too.
