It was the Second day of our Davao Adventure and there’s no stopping us from going out and explore this great city.
First order of the day was buffet breakfast at Cafe Marco.
Marco Polo Hotel has always been known for its impressive buffet spread. And the Cafe Marco Davao is no exception.
I am very impressed at their wide choices of food like cold cuts, cheeses, Filipino fares as well As internal dishes,
the Fresh fruits Section should never be missed. Their Pomelo is probably one of the best, After all, Davao is Known for its fresh fruits.
After our heavy meals we then visited Eden Nature Park (7 1.823 N 125 23.877 E)
We had our lunch there. Eden known for its fresh garden salad.
And Since I am still full from the heavy meals i had At Cafe Marco earlier I only had the fresh garden salad and the Salad Nicoise. I swear its really really good!
After the lunch, we toured the entire park. we rode the park’s van and passed by their hydroponics garden where they get their greens for their salad. We also stopped by several gardens for photo op.
After the tour we then went to their ZipLine area. I had mixed emotions at the time. I was excited but scared to death as well. It’s my first time to ride the zipline and I dunno what to expect.
I was trembling. But was still all smiles.
Until my my turned arrived. Oh God. The next thing I knew the cold wind was blowing in my face And I was already zooming past the trees and the birds. Whoa! Thsats quite an experience.
In fairness, Hindi na ako takot sa Zipline! I’m so proud of myself I conquered my fear. hahaha
It was past 4PM when we left Eden, we then proceeded to Deca Wakeboard Park. Angelie and Miss Yumny of Marco Polo Cebu tried the wakeboard. Hanggang Picture Picture lang ako!
After the wakeboarding fun, we went back to the hotel to freshen up. After which we dined at the posh Poolside Resto of Marco Polo Hotel. The steak is so good. Their pomelo creme is also yummy!
After dinner I had a 30-minute coffee body scrub and an hour of whole body massage. Oh, it was so good, and so relaxing. I feel like I was recharged again and ready for the next day’s action.
It was an action-packed day2 of our Davao Highlands to Islands tour courtesy of Marco Polo Hotel.
Stay tuned for the third day of our adventure!
Many thanks to Marco Polo Davao for bringing us to Davao City to experience Highlands to islands, the Marco Polo Way…
