Radisson Blu Cebu:The Preferred Business Hotel in Cebu

Posted by on June 9, 2013

Its posh, stylish and fab. It’s Radisson Blu Hotel. I just a short span of time Radisson Blu has emerged as one of the top picks among the business travelers.

Recently the hotel has been ranked by Travel Advisor as one of the best 5star hotels in Cebu.

And I am just so lucky to have stayed here for a night recently when I explored the Queen City of the South.

My stay at the hotel coincided with their launch of the Korean chef. So we had Korean lunch on my second day, but being a huge fan of Japanese food, I can’t help but go around the Feria restaurant and order Salmon Sashimi!

Breakfast at Feria is always a delightful experience. I think Radisson Blu’s in house restaurant has one of the most extensive buffet spreads in Cebu.

I love their wide selection of breads, cheeses, and cereals in the morning. But if you prefer to have heavy meals in the morning, fret not, they have a wide selection of dishes that you can pair with rice. There’s always the traditnal sausages, danggit, steamed fishes and a whole lot more.

Lunch and dinner becomes even more exciting as more dishes are served during the dining hours. My favorite Japanese section serves a wide array of sushi, maki, tuna and salmon sashimi among others.

The Asian section section has roast duck, lechon, congee, assorted dumplings, dim sum and a whole lot more. The italian section has pasta corner where you can ask the chef to cook pasta for you, depending on which kind of pasta and sauce you want.

And their dessert station is a sweet tooth’s paradise. Assorted kind of cheese cake, panna cotta and other sweets are offered. Theres also fresh fruits available. And my favorite here? Their artisanal ice cream! It’s one of the best i have tried on Cebu. Their vanilla flavored ice cream is heaven. Pair it with any fruits or syrup and it goes BOOM! I also love their corn flakes and coffee ice cream variants. Yummy!

And the room? The best!

My room was facing the Port of Cebu. I was so delighted to see the port busy with all the activities. Ships come and go, cargoes being loaded to large ships day in and day out.

My room is quite large. I had one big bed, with an office able where I can work at night. The bed is soft and comfy.

The room is also furnished with the standard amenities like A/C, cable TV, hot and cold shower, safety deposit box, LAN Internet access, mini bar, complete toilet and bath kit, bath robe. They also have flat iron and ironing board in the room! Coolness.

And Radisson Blu has a swimming pool too. I can actually see the pool from my room. Cool blue water, but no thanks. I was not in the mood to swim during that time.

They also have a gym, a spa and business center.

And one good thing that I totally love about Radisson Blu is its location. It is right beside SM City Cebu, just a few minutes away from the IT Park, and Ayala Shopping Mall. It is also just a few minutes ride going to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño and the Magellan’s Cross. The hotel is around 10 to 15 minutes away from the Cebu Mactan International Airport.

This is one hotel in Cebu that I could recommend to friends. It’s reasonably priced for a 5star experience when in the Queen City of the South.

Many thanks to Radisson Blu Cebu and SM Hotels for inviting me to stay here. Check out their website at http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-cebu
