When I first learned that Kalanggaman Island is part of our 6-day PHILTOA Media Familiarization Tour in Eastern Visayas, I really got excited.
Technically speaking, Kalanggaman is not an island, but is just an Islet. it is still under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Palompon in the Province of Leyte.

One of the towns we got to discover during our 6-day Media Familiarization Tour last week was Guiuan, Eastern Samar. Most of the time, Guiuan Samar is out of the tourist radar and because of this it only receives a handful of tourists exploring the place.

Our Day 2 in Puerto Princesa Palawan started a little bit early as we will be travelling to the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR).This is not the first time that I’m going to this UNESCO World Heritage site, so I am not really that excited anymore.
