In the 10th Global Pinoy Bazaar on 22-24 August 2014, Yabang Pinoy moves to the World Trade Center, a venue three times larger, to showcase the breadth of Filipino entrepreneurialism. The lineup features almost two hundred local brands and business concepts, from loyal merchants to budding startups, in art, design, music, travel, technology, home, fashion, and food and beverage.
Just recently I was invited by Lenovo at an exclusive Lenovo Yoga Tablet 18 hour challenge. There were only three of us in the challenge: Jonel Uy of LetsgoSago.net, Ferds Decena of Ironwulf.net and me.
Every year, the Cultural Center of the Philippines holds an open house for the public in a whole-day event called the Pasinaya. I have known about the Pasinaya before but hasn’t experience one due to conflicting schedule. But this year, I have finally made an effort to come to the CCP mainly to watch the performances of my two favorite dance companies: The Bayanihan Dance Company and the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group.

It was also a good time for me to preview the menu for the upcoming event of hotel’s restaurant, the LuzViMinda where the best flavors of the country will be brought in by chefs from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao.
