Bicolandia is celebrating the biggest Marian Festival in the country. It’s the fest day of the Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia. The Patroness of the Entire Bicol Region. The highlight of the festival os the transfter of the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia from the Peñafrancia Basilica to Naga City cathedral. Due to a large volume of devotees, the transfer of the image known as Traslacion, takes several hours.

Bicolandia’s biggest Catholic festival, and probably Philippines’ biggest Marian devotion event is set to unfold in Naga City once again.
Devotees of Our Lady of Penafrancia are expected to come in droves as they pay homage to the Bicol Region’s patroness they all call Ina.
The highlights of this Penafrancia fiesta is the Traslacion or the transfer of the image of Our Lady of Penafrancia from the Penafrancia Basilica back to the Naga Cathedral. The distance between the church may not be that very long but the transfer takes hours due to the huge number of devotees participating at the event.
Bantayog Festival is celebrated annually in Daet Camarines Norte Philippines. The Bantayog Festival celebration coincides with the Camarines Norted Foundation Day.? Daet is known as the surfing capital of the Bicol Region. Large waves on its pristine beaches make it possible for beach bums and sun worshippers to enjoy surfing skimboarding or kiteboarding in the area.
