During our vacation in Cagayan Valley last month, Marc and I had the chance to drop by at the town of Alcala, Cagayan, Philippines.
what should’nt be missed while in Alcala is its church dedicated to its patroness, Santa Filomena, and of course the Teano’s Carabao Milk Candy.

During my recent trip to the Cagayan Region, one of the places that I included in my must-visit places is the Iguig Church. The church is dedicated to its patron, Saint James.

The Iguig Church was built between the years 1765 to 1787 and just like the other churches in the Cagayan Valley Region, this church was also built using red bricks baked in brick ovens in Tuguegarao.
When I was in Tuguegarao last October, one of the churches that I planned to visit is the Lal-lo Church. The town of Lal-lo was formerly known as Nueva Segovia. It was named Nueva Segovia by juan Carrion in 1572. and is the seat of the Catholic archdiocese. today the Archdiocese has already been moved to the Heritage City of Vigan.

The beautiful Tumauini Church has been in my bucket list for quite some time now. I am always amazed at the beauty of this church since I first discovered it through the Department of Tourism ad campaigns before.
