The Point Residences: Your Piece of Santorini in the Philippines

Thunderbird Resorts in Poro Point La Union has recently lauched another milestone project: The Point Residences. Thunderbird Resorts is known for their world-class Santorini-themed resort facility in La Union. The Point Residences is an exclusive residential leisure and wellness community within the Thunderbird Resorts’ gated premises.

Im currently here in Thunderbird Resorts in Poro Point La Union Philippines for a 3D2N familiarization tour and the launch of the The Point Residences.

The 3M innovaton Tour

A few weeks back, I was invited to join the 3M innovation Tour at their office along South Super Highway. If there’s one thing that made 3M standout, it’s Innovation. 3M is a company that never ceases to innovate, and create new exciting products that would range from the very basic Consumer goods to Construction and Electrical products.

The Mind Museum soon to open in Taguig!

Yesterday, I attended a launch event of The Mind Musuem. It was a very ambitious project for the Filipinos. Very promising. I got really excited after seeing the plans. In a nut shell, The Mind Museum is:

- a PHP1 Billion Peso project
- located at the prime Bonifacio Global City, right across the 6-star Shangri-la Hotel and Philippine Stock Exchange.
-it will be filled with 250 interactive exhibits in 5 galleries and an outdoor area called Science-in-the-Park.
-a world class project with international partners and consultants such as The National Geographic and the Singapore Science Center.

This exciting project is expected to open its doors in 2011. It is envisioned to be a learning facility and not an entertainment center.

And while there are corporate sponsors to help start this amazing project, the planners, also want the masang Pilipino to be part of this project.

That is also the reason why they launched the fundraising campaign through their website. For PHP1000 a donor can already light up a star on the gallery, or for PHP5000, you may already light up a constellation. And aside from this, a wall will also built on the museum listing the names of the Filipinos who shared the dream of putting up a world class Science museum.
