Here are some more photos from the recently concluded Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival 2010 held in Davao City Philippines. Kadayawan Festival is considred to be the biggest fiesta celebration in Mindanao where the 10 ethnic group (locally known as lumad) would go to the city to celebrate their thanksgiving to the Supreme Being for bountiful harvest.

Here are some more photos from the recently concluded Pintados Kasadyaan Festival 2010 held in Tacloban City Philippines. A lot of locals aswell as tourists flocked to the city streets and at the Leyte Grandstand to witness the Streetdancing competition as well as the ritual Presentation. The Pintados Kasadyaan Festival is held every last week of June in honor of the Province’s Patron, Santo Nino.

Here’s some more photos of my Boracay trip where I got to stay at the posh Alta Vista de Boracay. The luxury hotel resort is perched on top of the hill providing breathtaking views of the fairways and the beach.

Aliwan Fiesta 2010 is already over. Most contingents are already back in their respective provinces, while some still have some festival guesting in other cities. Aliwan Fiesta has consistently been showcasing the best of Filipino artistry, especially in the field of dance and music.

Here are some more photos from the recently concluded Pintados de Pasi Festival in Passi City in Iloilo Philippines. Pintados de Pasi is a festival celebrating the glorious past of the Pasinhon, the fiesta revolves around the story of how the Tattooed men of Passi live in this part of the island. Stories would tell that the more tattoo a person has, the more he is respected in the society. More than just an art form, this skin art has become a status symbol in the past.

Here are some of the Photos I took during the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan. Pajo elementary School of Lapu Lapu City emerged as the Elementary Division Champion, Consolacion Cebu bagged the Championship trophy for the High School division.
