The following is a photo essay of how I flew from Manila to sponsor a group in Victorias City. The group from Brgy 15 and 15A (collectively known as Caticlan) is set to compete today for the annual Kadalag-an Festival in Victorias City Negros Occidental.

Here are some more photos from the recently concluded Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City, Philippines. Dinagyang Festival is an annual event held every fourth Sunday of January in honor of the Infant Jesus more popularly known as Sto. Nino.

Here are some more photos I took during the Kasadyahan Festival in Iloilo City. This year, 10 festivals competed. Pantat Festival of Zarraga Won the Championship while the defending champion Kasag Festival of Banate Iloilo was only able to secure the first runner up slot.

The Sinulog Festival 2011 in Cebu City was a resounding success. Despite the almost-nonstop downpour during the wekeend’s festivities, thousand, or shall I say, over a million of devotees andd tourists still flocked to the Queen City of the South to pay homage to the Santo Nino during the procession and witness the extravagant grand parade held last Sunday.
