A few weeks ago, I was in Cebu City to scout for materials that I can use for our dancers. Even before I went to Cebu, Capiz Shells was one of the hot items on my list. I tried to search the Internet where to get supply and Google Search Results pointed me to the nearby town of Minglanilla, a few kilometers south of Cebu.

Last Friday I took an early morning flight from Manila to Cebu. This is my third time in the queen city of the south this year, but I am still giddy that Im back in Cebu.There were several items on my to-do list for this trip. among them, buy raw materials for a project, do a review of restaurant and test/review 2 bags.

When we were in Lake Sebu last week, one of the places I didn’t want to miss is the COWHED located at Tuko-Fol, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato Philippines. The house was designed similar to Gono Kem Bo-I, or the T’Boli Princess House.

The Senakulo is a religious ritual, theatrical extravaganza and a personal expression of faith deliciously served in a platter of colorful costumes, eye-catching scenery, ingenious effects, soothing verse and high energy performance. But the most sumptuous facet of the senakulo is that it is a living, growing heritage ; the senakulo has become a force majeur that continues to bring together several generations of a community of various persuasions in preserving folk tradition in a proud expression of the towns distinct cultural identity.
