It’s a trip I couldn’t easily forget. One of the best trips of the year! Imagine for seven days, I roam around the island of Mindanao setting foot in eight provinces + the Cities of Davao, General Santos Cotabato and Cagayan de Oro. Best of all, I backpack for a week alone! Exciting, isn’t it?

This is the itinerary we followed during the 6-day Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) Media Familiarization Trip. the itinerary is very doable, but you need to be very conscious with your time especially with trips that involves ferry trips.

You can also shorted the itinerary depending on your preference. The itinerary covers 6 days of adventure in four Central Visayan provinces: Bohol, Negros Oriental, Siquijor and Cebu.
May 23rd, I flew from Bongao Tawi Tawi back to Zamboanga. The Tawi Tawi trip was one of the awesomest trip I recently had. Very memorable! This is the third installment of my Zamboanga Experience. You can read the first part and second part here.
The flight was scheduled in the morning. And just like my Zamboanga – Tawi tawi trip, am I so amazed at all the islands in the Sulu area. White sand beaches abound!
I always love the design of the Zamboanga International Airport. THe Malay/Islamic influence is very evident in its roof design.

This is the second part of my adventure in Bongao Tawi Tawi. The First part of the series is here
My tricycle driver/guide and I continued to roam around the town of Bongao. From DanMar Beach Resort, we checked out out a few more beaches then off to the bridge that connects the Bongao Island and Sanga Sanga Island.
