It was a night I dare not to miss. It was the launching of Blue Water Day Spa’s newest services as well as official announce their new product endorsers. Two big starts from rival companies agreed to promote the services of Blue Water Day Spa.

Fifteen days ago, I made a blog post about the incident involving my three photos that were used by ABS CBN’s morning show Boy & Kris.
I never expected to receive huge feedback on this issue. I can’t even imagine people started forwarding messages with my previous blog post. Some even went to as far as creating threads in online forums.
I only have two reasons why I did that post. First, to call the attention of ABS CBN, and secondly, to warn other artists, photographers and bloggers to be more vigilant. The Internet is a vast space of resource, anybody can just download anything.
And today, April 18, 2008, fifteen days after this incident. ABS CBN and I have come to an agreement to resolve this problem. Moving forward, I will no longer talk about this issue. I will also be removing the old post now that my primary reason for posting has already been resolved.
I would like to thank all those who believed in my fight. To my friends who helped me in spreading the world over the cyberspace. To the members of the various online forums, you know who you are, thank you so much. A big big thank you also to the bloggers who blogged about my story and to all the Multipliers, you guys rock! You spread news like wildfire.
Just a short message to my fellow bloggers and photographers: be vigilant. Be very very vigilant. Do not be afraid. Stand up for your right. And Read the Intellectual Propertry Code of the Philippines.
To the print and broadcast media, please, respect the rights of every copyright owner. I myself wouldn’t mind if you will use my photos as long as you ask my permission. Respect, that’s what we want.
